NEWS TO EEBRUAEY 15. The following Summary was published by us as an E^tra yesterday evening : — Wellington, March 26, 6 p.ov The R. M. S. Mataura, arrived in harbor at 1.30 p.m. with English and American Mails. Southampton steamer was four days late reaching Colon. Mataura was unable to leave Panama till the morning of the 27th ult„ touched at Opara, and took in 160 tons of coal. Brings English dates via Atlantic Cable to the 15th February, and New York intelligence to the same date. Passengers for Wellington — Mrs Stokes, Ensign Burnaby, Mr. Small, Mr and Mrs Forest, Mr and Mrs Hunt, and five children, Mr and Mrs Barton, Mr. Milne. For Napier — Captain and Mrs Russell, and servant, Mrs. J. H. and three Misses Russell. For Taranaki — Mr. Bayly. For Auckland — Rev. B. and two Misses Ashwell, Mr. and Mrs. Morrin, Mr. and Mrs. Neale, Mr. and Miss Wilkin, Mr. and Miss Jackson. For Canterbury — Mr, Mrs, and three Misses Hawdon, and nurse, Rev. C. Bowen, Messrs Clarkson, Webster, Denuistoun, aud Humphreys, For Otago — Mr. and Mrs. Gundry. For Sydney — Mr. aud Mrs. Dumphy, Mrs Edge, Mr and Mrs Earle, Mrs Bailey and five children, Messrs Blaster, Scott, Fell, Probyn, Trinliau, Macarthy, Armthstad and Smith. For Melbourne — Messrs. Neyns, Quilk aud Laycock.
