A Dunedin telegram in the Christchurch papers stales that the steamer Albion has be* 3 !} purchased by Mr Iloyt and Captain APKimion for £12,400. It is the intent ion of the new owners lo send the Albion first to the West Coast, thence to Sydney, and thence to Japan. It is slated that Mr Hoyfc has an intention of proceeding to Japan, theru to introduce King Cobb to the Jan.'inese. A party from Dunediu wiil also accompany Mr Hoyfc. QUEENSLAND GOLDFIELDS.
