The Nelson Evening Mail. WEDNESDAY, FKBRUARY 19, 1868.

RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT. "Wednesday, Feb. 19. (Before J. Poynter, Esq., R.M.) J. P. Cooke v. W. Fox.—This was an action to recover £2 9s. 4d\. for glaziers' work done by the plaintiff. The defendant failed to appear, and judgment was given for the plaintiff for the amount claimed, with 21s. costs. J. & E. Paul v. Richardson & M'Gill. —An action to recover £34 19s. 7d., for goods supplied to the defendants, lately merchants trading at the West Coast. The defendant Richardson appeared and admitted the debt, and judgment was therefore given for the plaintiffs for the amount claimed, with £l 2s. costs, payable in three weeks, provided the defendant gives security to the plaintiff for the amount within two days, otherwise execution to issue. H. Hounsell v. F. Morris. —Action to recover £14 ss. 4d., for goods BHpplied. The defendant having appeared and admitted the debt, was adjudged to pay the amount claimed, with 17s. costs, payable in three weeks.
