NOMINATION of TRUSTEES under < The Nelson Trust Funds Act/ "\\ [ HERE AS, by a Proclamation of his ExcelV V lency Sir George Grey, K.C.8. , Governor of the colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, dated 12th day of February, 1864, under the hand of the said Governor, and under the Seal of the said Colony, made in execution of the powers 'given to his Excellency under and by virtue of ' The Nelson Trust Funds Act, 1861/ and ' The Nelson Trust Funds Act 1854 Amendment Act, 1863,' the Resident Magistrate at Nelson was declared to be the Eeturning Officer at the Elections for Trustees and Auditors to serve under the aforesaid Acts, and to whom all necessary powers were given by the said Proclamation for conducting all such elections: Now therefore I, JOHN POYNTER, Esquire, Resident Magistrate, do hereby give notice that THURSDAY, the 2nd day of January 1868, is appointed for the NOMINATION of SEVEN Persons to serve as TRUSTEES under the said Acts, from the Ist day of January next, for the then ensuing three years; such Nomination to take place at Noon, at the Courthouse in Nelson; and in the event of a Poll being demanded, I hereby appoint TUESDAY, the 21st day of the said month of January, for the POLLING to take place. The polling to commence at Nine o'clock in the forenoon of the said last-mentioned day, at the several and respective places to be hereafter advertised, and close at Four o'clock in the afternoon of the said day at each of the said places.
