The Nelson Evening Mail. TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29, 1867. PANAMA MAIL.

The P.N.Z. & A.R.M. Co.'s s.s.Rakaia, S. Harry Wright, Esq., Commander, arrived at Wellington early Sunday morning. She brought the English and American mails, 19 passengers, and 293 ijpsekages cargo. The only New Zealand passengers are — • For Wellington, Mrs Alison and Mr Biackadder; for Auckland, Mr E. Glanville; for Tarauaki, Mr Pitcairne. The Rakaia left Panama on the 24th September (25th Wellington time), aad 'called at Opara fov coals ou the 14th tnsfc. Bad euals is the cause assigned for her being late.
