Napoleon is about to visit the Emperor cf Austria, The Italian Government is taking energetic measures to prevent violation of Papal territory. August 7th. The House of Commons has adopted amendment of Lord Cairns in Reform Bill fzf&c representation of minorities, but rejected/Noting papers and other amendments intiwuced into the House of Lords. August 10. Mr Stanton has refused to tender his resignation, as requested by President Johuston. Disquieting rumors of difficulties betweeu France aud Russia have entirely ceased.
