HOMCEOPATHY.
To the Editor of the Nelson Evening Mail Sir —'S. A. C* in your issue of this evening states that 'the writer of the letter signed "Not One of S.A.C.'s educated Persons 1 is himself evidently ignorant of what homoeopathy is, as any of your readers who peruses the following extract must admit —"lt is however very generally known what homoeopathy is j the principle of which is to cure diseases by such medicines aB produce similar symptoms, in large doses, in the healthy person." * The above extract from my letter is only evidence of my knowledge (not ignorance) of what homoeopathy is; for the principle of homceopathy is therein correQtly and clearly stated. I do not think it necessary to refer to S.A.C.'s other remarks. . I am, etc., Not One op S.A.C.'s educated Persons. Nelson, Sept. 10, 1867. [We have this morning received another communication from the writer of the above letter, which we were unable to publish yesterday, referring u&, in proof of the correctness of his definition of homoeopathy, to a letter signed "J. G-." in Thursday's Examiner. —Ed. E.M.] :•
