The apprehensions which have for some time past been entertained in this city, relative to the safety of the Dona Anita, have been altogether allayed by the statement in the Home News, received to-day via Panama, which informs us that she " was spoken wit,h hi 1 S., 20 W.,a1l well, with the exception of the death of her captain ;" and aU-o by the receipt of letters by her agents, Messrs N. Edwards & Co., announcing that she had put in to Rio Janeiro ou the 9th of May, in consequence of the death of Captain Brown and some disagreement with the crew. She was to sail again in a few days ; the passengers and crew all well.
