To the Editor of the Nelson Evening Mail. SiR I—l1 — I wish through your valuable paper to express my gratitude to the Provincial Solicitor and the other gentlemen who so manfully saved me from falling into the hands of those poor "remnants of barbarism" the other night. "It is a pleasure to know (according to the progressive development theory) that they will soon be extinct, and thus make room for others with a higher development of brain. I remain, yours truly. A Flying Stationer.
