FRANCE.
The Great Exhibition now promises to be a great success. The most gratifying advancement is being made in arranging and classifying the immense number of articles of all classes and description to be exhiuited. The new Franco-American Telegraph Company, which proposes to lay an electric cable between Brest and Halifax, has been promised the support and assitance of the Imperial Government.
