In noticing the stock-trade between Tasmania and New Zealand, the Hobart Town Mercury says: — The demand for horses for New Zealand still continues, particularly at Lyttelton, Dunedin, Hokitika ; and in reference to the list of shipments of this description of stock, we find that since the commencement of February, there have beeu shipped to those ports alone 223 horses, valued at £5,000; and the Bella Vista, barque, sails for Hokitika to-morrow, with a further supply.
