The Nelson Evening Mail. MONDAY, APRIL 1, 1867.
A cricket match came off between the ■Town Club aud the College Eleven, in Victory-square, on Saturday last, which was contested with considerable spirit. The fielding was especially good on the college side. It will be seen from the accompanying score that the College Eleven were easily the victors by' two, with seven wickets to go clown. It is stated that a return match will be played in about three weeks from this time.
