ON TUESDAY, March 12, a Public TEA MEETING will be held, tea on the tables at half-past 5 o'clock ; tickets ls. 63. each. Immediately after, a Public Meeting will be held. The children will recite pieces. Ministers and friends are expected to address the meeting. A collection will be made at the close of each service, in aid of the funds. 1998 WAIMEA EAST FETE. THE inhabitants of the Waimea East and the public generally are respectfully informed that the FETE in commemoration ofthe TWENTY-FIFTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SETTLEMENT, Will take place at the FAIR GROUND, RICHMOND, on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13, 1867. A PROCESSION kindly assisted by the Odd- Fellows, accompanied by a Band, will leave the Hall at 10 o'clock a.m. precisely. Ample arrangements will be made for carrying on a variety of GYMNASTIC SPORTS, including Foot Races, Jumping Matches, Football, &c, for Prizes. A COLD COLLATION will be served at 12 o'clock punctually. Admission by Ticket, price ls. 6d.; double ticket, to admit lady and gentleman, 2s. 6d. TEA wiil be in readiness at half-past 4. Tickets, ls. ; children under 14, free. A DISPLAY OF FIREWORKS will take place at 8 o'clock, AND A BALL in the Hall, at 9 o'clock p.m. Subscriptions for4he more vigorous prosecution of the Fete and Sports will be received by the Committee. TENDERS are invited from persons willing to undertake the construction of a BRICK SEWER or CULVERT down the centre of Bridge-street, from Trafalgar-street to Colling-wood-street, in accordance with plans and specififications which may be seen at the office of the Board on and after MONDAY, the llth day of March.
