IN pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled "The Regulation of Elections Act, 1858," I, JOHN SHARP, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of the Province of Nelson, do hereby give notice, that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the Fifteenth day of February, 1867, issued under the hand of his Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an ELECTION will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as SUPERINTENDENT of the said Province; and that the NOMINATION of Candidates will take place at the Provincial Hall, Nelson, on MONDAY, the Fourth day of March, next, 1867, at noon, and that the POLL, if necessary, will be taken on THURSDAY, the Twenty-eighth day of March, 1867.
