CRICKET .-WELLINGTON v. NELSON.

[by electric telegraph.] Wellington, February 18, 2 p.m. The cricket match between Wellington and Nelson came on this morning. The weather is line, and business is suspended, it being considered a general holiday. The Wellington players went in first, and scored 55. At 2 o'clock the Nelson players are in, with 4 wickets down for 20 runs ; their best men are still to go in. The play goes on steadily, and everybody seems on good terms with himself and those around him. 3 p.m. At 2*25 p.m. the Nelson men concluded their first innings for 33. All are gone to lunch.
