The steamer Nelson left this port on the 9th inst., at half-past 2 p.m., and arrived at the Grey at half-past 2 p.m. the following day; left on the Monday for Hokitika, where she arrived at 4 p.m. ; left Hokitika on the 12th at 3 p.m., arriving at the Grey at 5 p.m. ; left next day at 4 p.m., and arrived at Fox's at 7 o'clock the same day ; left at 2 a.m. on the following morning, and arrived at the Buller at 6 o'clock; left the Buller yesterday morning at half-past 4 a.m. and arrived at Nelson this morning at 10 o'clock. She brings the following passengers: — Messrs. Bain, Mason, Pike, Desonnais, Morey, Wallace, Max, Blarire, Mrs. Myers, and seven in the fore cabin. The N.Z.S.N. Company's s:s. Wellington, Captain Renner, left Otago at 4 p.m. on the llth, and arrived at Bluff on the 12th, at 9-30 am. ; left same day at 1 1 a.m., and arrived off the Haast ou the afternoon of the 13th, landed passengers, and sailed fbr Hokitika at 5-30 p.m., arriving there-at 4-30 a.m. on the 14th ; left at 5 "30 p.m., and arrived here on the 15th, at 2-45 p.m.
