Ahuriri left Nelson on the 16th inst., at 3-45 p.m., and arrived at tne Buller on the 17th, at 11 a.m., fine weather fine; left the Buller on the 19th, atB-30a.m., and arrived at Nelson at- 2-45 yesterday morning. The steamer Nelson left the Buller at the same time, and after an exciting race between both boats arrived 15 minutes after the Ahuriri. The Ahuriri brings no cargo, and only six passengers. The P.N.Z.A.R.M. Company's steamer Airedale left Manukau at 3 p,m. on the 18th, and Taranaki at 3 p.m. on the 19th, arriving at Nelson yesterday morning, at 7 o'clock, having experienced very fine weather throughout. She brings the following passengers : saloon — Mrs Ross, Miss Hoby, Messrs Gillies, O'Keefe, Kirkwood, Jackson, Saunders ; second cabin — Messrs. Stewart, Howe, Marshall, Reed, Ramsey, Worthington, Wise, Race, Dodd, three natives, and 25 passengers for other ports.
