The Lady Bird left Mamikr.u on Monday, 7thj at 5 p.m. arrived off Taranaki, on Tuesday, at 6 a.m., experienced strong easterly winds and thick •weal her, and unable to land any cargo owing to heavy surf ; left Taranaki at 1 p.m., arrived at Wanganui at 6 a.m., crossed the bar at 1 1 a.m. on the 9th; left Wanganui on Friday, the 11th at .noon, and arrived at Nelson at 1 a.m. on the 12th ; fine weather from Wanganui. The Storm Bird left Hokitika at 1 p.m. on Friday, the 11th, had moderate weather and S.W. v/inds, and arrived at Nelson at 2-30 p.m. this afternoon.
