NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned persons are liable to the amount set opposite their respective names, being a levy of ONE PENNY in the POUND upon the ASSESSED VALUE of the PROPERTY included •within the TOWN of NELSON, which said rate is levied in accordance with the "Nelson Improvement Amendment Act." The Assessment of the Town, for the Tenth Year, being completed, the books are now open for the inspection of the Ratepayers, and will be kept open for that purpose for 21 days from this date. If any person or persons should think themselves aggrieved by this Assessment, he or they may at any time, within 28 days from the date of this notice, notify the same in writing to the BOARD of WORKS, stating the grounds of objections.
