IN consequence of the LARGE AMOUNTS the various INSURANCE COMPANIES have had to PAY to some of the SUFFERERS by the LATE FIRES; some of these companies have determined to REDUCE their RISKS upon the PRINCIPAL BLOCKS of BUILDINGS in the TOWN. We are, therefore, placed in the position of being UNINSURED to the amount of TEN THOUSAND POUNDS, as our Insurances previous to that time did not half cover 'our Stock; which, considering that fires haA-e become more frequent than formerly, render our position serious indeed; as in the event of a fire taking place in our vicinity and our premises burned, Ave should be utterly ruined. In order to obviate such a misfortune as far as possible, we have decided upon offering our IMMENSE STOCK at COST PRICE for a short time, in order to reduce the risk as much and as soon as possible.
