We learn from the local journal that the gold discoveries in the upper Grey district are steadily progressing... On Tuesday information was received in town of a new rush in the neighborhood of the Little Grey Junction, and on enquiring we found that there was some foundation for the rumour. We have been allowed to copy the following from a letter received on Tuesday from Mr. Warden Lightband : — " I have heard reports of another rush, about five or six miles up from the junction of the Little Grey, and from all accounts it is likely to turn out very well. • There is no doubt that the Grey district will be the leading gold-field of the West Coast."
