The natives about Hangatiki are suffering severely from fever. The Taranaki Herald, 15th- June, says : — The other day two genuine black swans visited the Urenui, where they were distinctly seen by several persons, European and Maoris. It is to be supposed they have come over from Nelson unless they are escaped prisoners from Kawau.
