The West Coast Times states that an information is about to be laid against the men Purcell, Donovan, and Hourigau, for having on the morning of the 22nd ulfc., burglariously entered the Queenstown Hotel, under circumstances which have been made known iu connection with the case of manslaughter against Mr. Bracken. The Hokitika correspondent of the Canterbury Press, iu his last letter, says : — "A gentleman, well-known, I understand, in Victoria, named Mr. M'Rea, has mado his appearance in Hokitika, aud has proposed to the Commissioner an interview for the purpose of arranging, if possible, for the cutting of exploring tracks and prospecting. The country only wants opening up, and pleuty will rush to test its qualities.
