Although the excitement respecting the Little Grey diggings has subsided, there has still been a steady march of miners to that locality and other up-river diggings, and ifc is fair to presume that some good results will follow the systematic examination of the district which will no doubt be made. Of one thing there can be no doubt, and that is, that the various diggings up the Grey and Arnold still afford as good a field for steady mining operations as any portion of the West Coast.
