The senior and junior medal matches will be played in the morning and the four ball bogey matches in the afternoon. There are 72 entries and a good day is assured as the links are in firstclass order. Entries have been received from Kaiapoi, Cheviot, Christchurch, Rangiora, Russley, Avondale, Templeton, Amuri, Rawhiti, Harewood, Hagley and Amberley Clubs. Bogey Match A Stableford bogey match was played on Tuesday afternoon, the following being the best cards: — A Grade—Mrs G. Hirst, 14, 20—34; Mrs L. Maclbree, 7, 26—33; Mrs L. H. Petrie, 6, 27—33; Miss N. Heney, 5, 27—32; Mrs A. W. Murphy, 11, 20— 31; Mrs J. Johnston, 14, 16—30. B. Grade—Mrs J. D. McMullan, 5, 27—32; Miss J. Paterson, 3, 27—30. FLAG 500 Another of a series of card evenings was held last Monday evening in the W. C. T. IT. Hall when there was an attendance of 36 card players. These evenings are proving very popular. The winners were Mrs C. Joslen, Miss N. Taylor and Mr F. Bryden.
