Large Entry of Pigs At Rangiora Weekly Stock Sale

There were 120 pigs entered in the weekly stock market at Rangiora on Tuesday and prices for this section were good. There were good entries in all sections of the sale and following is the range of prices:— Pigs—Light baconers, £3/0/6; porkers, £3B/6 to 44/6; stores, 25/-; slips, 22/- to 24/6. Sheep—Fat weathers, 21/- to 24/5; ewes and lambs, all counted, 9/11 to 14/9; two-tooth ewes, 22/9 to 23/6; aged ewes, 15/5; two-tooth weathers, 17/- to 18/10.

Cattle—Springers, £6/10/- to £9; cows in profit, £6 to £8; yearling heifers, 54/-.
