Molesworth Line Sells Best
TO-DAY'S HORSE FAIR There was a fairly good entry in to-day's horse fair, including a draft of mares and foals and pack-horses from Molesworth station. These sold well, but other entries brought only fair prices. The top price for the sale at going to press was £4O for a draught gelding, on behalf of a local client. Values were:— Molesworth horses: 1 mare and foal £l9, mare and foal £l7, mare and foal £29, mare and foal £l3, mare and foal £l6, mare and foal £l7, mare and foal £l3, bay mare £B, mare £ll, hack £ll, hack gelding £ls, two yearling fillies £7, yearling filly £2B, yearling colt £lB, yearling colt £l3, bay mare £lO, bay mare £l9, gelding £2l, bay mare £l6/10/-, gelding £ls, mare £lB 10/-, mare £l7/10/-, mare £l9/10/-, mare £6, mare £lB. Other sales were: Bay gelding 6 years £32, bay gelding 9 years £23 10/-, bay mare aged £l6, bay mare aged £7, bay mare aged £lO, black mare aged £7, hack £5/10/-, hack £5. TJnbrokens: Gelding £22, gelding £lB, three geldings £l7. Ponies: 1 at £lO, 1 at £4/5/-, 1 at £7.
