CONCERT

St. John’s Church ORGAN FUND BENEFITS Tlie fund for repairs to tlio organ in St. John’s Anglican Church benefited as a result of the concert arranged in the Parish Hall on Wednesday night. Group and individual items were given. The cast of a farce which took up the first half of the programme, “Excuse Me,” was as follows: Misses P. Walker, B. Purchas, D. Thompson, N. Brydon, P. O’Connor, J. Bayley, J. Wat;on, Mrs R. F. Watson, Messrs W. McDonald, R. and P. Kinley, R. Bullock, J. and R. Bayley, G. Mehrtens, B. Jordan, and J. Gulliver. Tn the second hall; items were given by Misses R. Horrell, J. Barrie, B. Piper, M. Yates (songs), Mr W. McDonald (piano solo), Messrs J. C. Hancox and A. Breach (violin duet). Misses Zita Lockhart and Lucie-An-nettc Golding (dancing). The church choir sang part songs. Mrs A. Hughes arranged the programme.
