History was made at Pataua on Monday night when Mr John Unitt presented what is believed to be the district’s first programme of talking pictures to a large gathering of campers. A truck was the background for the open-air theatre’s screen. ' On behalf of the campers, Mr Ces Wright thanked Mr Unitt for his excellent entertainment. Campers have invaded the area in large numbers for the holidays, and a further influx is expected for the New Year
Some good catches of fish have been hooked outside the Pataua River.
