AUCKLAND, Thu. (P.A.L—Eden Park will probably have room for a maximum of 47.825 spectators for the British Empire Games track and field events in Februarv.
The biggest crowd ever at the Park was 55,92(1 at the third Springbok Rugby test in 1937. This time no spectators will be allowed inside the enclosure.
There will be grandstand accommodation for 7825 people.
A net profit of £5tg,255,0G(5 was earned by the Union Bank of Australia, Ltd., for the-year ended August 31. The result, which is reached after providing for taxation and making appropriations to reserves, is the highest for 20 years. Dividend is maintained at 9 per cent (final 51 per cent!, requiring £198,000 after deduction of the United Kingdom' income tax of 9/- in IT.
