Pharmacy Training At Otago Varsity
DUNEDIN, Thu. fP.A.)— The University of Otago may shortly undertake pharmacy graining. Pharmacists nfade the original move to improve the educational course undertaken by pharmacy students, and the Minister of Health (Miss Howard) had set up a committee which had investigated the question.
The committee had recommended that the best thing would be for a university, preferably the University of Otago. to undertake pharmacy training.' Many of the students could take the first year of the course in northern colleges. University tuition would supplant the present small pharmacy school, which operates mainly on a correspondence basis from Wellington.
