New Face For Tote Building

The totalisator. building at Kensington Park is to have a new face for the Whangarei Racing Club's spring meeting on Friday and Saturday of next week. The machine used at the Alexandra Park trots m Auckland is being brought north for the meeting and. to accommodate it, the present building has had to be altered. Workmen are engaged on this job and will have it completed next week. The club also has a new press box under construction on the roof of the members' stand and is carrying out alterations to the stewards’ bar and lunch-room. All this work will be completed in time for the coming meeting. The indications point to heavy acceptances for all events. Acceptances close on Friday night and will be published on Saturday.
