Veterans' Tourney
ROTORUA, Wed. (Sp.)—With net rounds of 63 and 67 in the two qualifying rounds, W. W. Maingay, of Howick, topped the list of 16 to contest the New Zealand Veterans’ Golf Cup, at the , Arikikapakapa course yesterday. He has twice won the trophy. D. George, of Rotorua, who led the field in the first round with a net 67, took five more strokes yesterday. R. Sprague, of Te Puke, finished in third place with 141, and A. C. Anderson, of Palmerston North, was fourth with 143.
