Accident
Playing at the Whangarei Girls' High School yesterday afternoon, Sally Birchall, aged 12, slipped, dislocating her right kneecap. Harold Hutchings, 35, a fanner of Portland, was killing a sheep today when his knife slipped, inflicting a deep cut in his left leg. Both patients are doing well at the Whangarei District Hospital.
