Entries For Stock Show

Indicative of the interest being taken in the Whangarei A and P. Society’s stock show in November ie the manner in which entries axe already coming forward.

Although entries do not close until October 21, more than 100 have already been received by the secretary (Mr P. D. Corsbie). These are from as far afield as Claudelands and Tuakau, while Whangarei and other Northland district* are well represented.

Records show that this is the first time that entries in such number have come forward so early. Enlargement of the pony section accounts for greater interest in the show, while hack and hunter entries as well as those for dairy and beef breeds are steadily accumulating. The show will be held at Kensington Park on November 11 and 12.
