Quake Felt In S.i.
CHRISTCHURCH. Wed. (P.A.)— An earthquake shock was recorded at Christchurch Magnetic Observatory at 5.13 o'clock this morning.
There was a major rock, followed by tremors for half an hour. The disturbance is believed to have originated in a north-south line from Christchurch.
