Reported'Shortage Of Russian Supplies
ISTANBUL, Mon. (11 a.m.)— Lieutenant Valentin Kondratiyetich, of the Russian Army, -fcho landed an aircraft near Sinope, in Turkey, said in a press interview in a military prison that there was a great shortage of supplies in Russia. Money earned by the average family was insufficient to buy the full bread rations. There was also a great lack of wool and meat in Russia, because these commodities were being sent to satellite states. Kondratiyetich said it was impossible to organise any democratic movement in Russia, but many people Intended to British and American broadcasts.
