Killed By Mine On Frontier
VIENNA, Mon. (11 a.m.)—One man was killed and another injured today by mines attached to barbed-wire entanglements the Hungarians have erected along • their frontier with Austria.
The man killed was a gendarme patrolling the frontier. The mine exploded about 60ft away, killing him instantly. A young farmer was injured when he touched a tripwire near the frontier fence. The Minister of the Interior announced tonight that Russian officials had arrested five more Austrians on charges of spying. Three days ago an Austrian- woman working at a Russian command post and another Austrian who worked as a part-time nurse in a Vienna hospital, were arrested on charges of having spied for the United States Army.
