Rangitoto Welcome For Rangitoto

AUCKLAND, Tue. (P.A.)—Residents of Rangitoto Island plan to welcome the New Zealand Shipping Company's 21,809 ton liner Rangitoto to Auckland with a new launch named Miss Rangitoto. Mr J. R. Noble is working hard to finish building the craft by October 14 while womenfolk on the island are preparing welcoming pennants and other flags.

A telegram of welcome was sent when the big ship arrived in Wellington and an acknowledgment has been received from the master (Captain A. PI. Lettington).
