Cycling Champion May Visit N.Z.

PARIS, Sun. (11 a.m.).— Reginald Harris, of Manchester, world profession cycling sprint champion, may be seen in New Zealand towards the end of next year. He said today that he had turned down an invitation from Australia to ride there between November this year and March, 1951, because Australian promoters did not offer sufficient security. He had been invited to New Zealand from November, 1950, to March, 1951, and if conditions were more favourable than those from Australia, he would be very pleased to accept them.
