Rabhiter Poisoned
MASTERTON. Mon. (P.A.) —A rabbitcr who was preparing a cyanide gun used to poison rabbits, inhaled the fumes, became ill and died in Masterton Hospital' last night. He was: Mr John Reeves, aged 51, an employee of the Wairarapa Rabbit Board.
Mr Reeves was working at Ngaumu. The accident occurred on Friday when he was filling a gun used to force the deadly fumes of gas into rabbit burrows. **
An inquest was held today before the district coroner (Mr L. J. Taylor). After evidence of identification had been taken, the inquest was adjourned sine die.
