Stay-At-Home Strike Ends
AUCKLAND, Mon. (P.A.I A three weeks’ stay-at-home strike by 50 pupils of Glen Massey Primary School, near Hamilton, ended today when the children returned. The parents had stated that they would not allow the children to attend until a change was made in the teaching staff. Prolonged negotiations between ' the school committee and Auckland Education Board ended in a settlement during the week-end.
