City Council Farm
AUCKLAND, Wed. (Sp.). Authority to make several improvements on the City Council’s farm on Motuilie Island was given to the director of parks and reserves (Mr J. A. McPherson) yesterday by the council’s Parks Committee.
Reports on the work required were received from Mr A. Briscoe-Moore. of Whangarei, Mr McPherson, and the new farm manager (Mr R. Ward) who attended the meeting. Mr Ward also said there were indications that the extensions to the Motuilie Wharf would be started at an early date.
