INFERNAL COMBUSTION
The dropping oi' matches about the house is not to be encouraged. They tend to clutter up the place, and may even be dangerous. Now that matches are so hard to get the experience of a Whangarei resident last night is especially sad. He was putting a full box of wax matches back in his pocket when they accidentally fell to the floor, where the box immediately exploded. However, not all the precious matches were destroyed. One survived the holocaust. It had been put in the box back-to-front.
