Crutchings Sale Satisfactory
DUNEDIN. JVlon. (P. A.)—Keenest bidding in the first wool sale of the season in Dunedin, held this morning, was for 84 lots of greasy stock pile wool, comprising 3646 bales sold on account of the New Zealand Wool Disposal Commission. • _ This line was composed of wool from 1943-44 and 1944-45 clips, and brought up to 233 d. . Nearly the whole of the offering was of crutchings. The offering was con, siderably below that of the corresponding sale last year owing to the poorer season experienced and the iact that the sale was held earlier.
