SURMAN co/nlO WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER VrOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Whangarei County Council held on the 12th day of August, 1949, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held on Friday the 9th day of September, 1949, at the Council Chambers, Rose Street, Whangarei. That in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon it by Sections 17 and 25 of The Local Bodies Loans Board Act. 1926, The Local Government Loans Act, 1926, and The Counties Act, 1920, the Whangarei County Council doth hereby resolve by way of Special Order to raise a Special Loan of £3OOO to be known as the Whangarei County Bridge Loan, 1949, for the purpose of meeting its share of the cost of replacing two bridges namely the Opouteke and McKenzie’s Bridge. (1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be raised shall not exceed twenty-five (25) rears. (2) The rate of interest that may be mid in respect of the said loan or any mrt thereof shall not exceed three )cunds five shillings (£3/5/-) per cenum per annum. f3> The said loan or any part hereof shall be repaid by equal £mmal instalments of Principal and Inerest. , . . , (4) The payment of such instalments hall be made in New Zealand and no nstaiments shall be paid out of Loan oneys. , , (5) The rate payable for brokerage iderwriting, and procuration fees (if iv) in r.espect of the raising of the lid Loan or any part thereof shall at in the aggregate exceed one-half :r centum of any amount raised.
