3 Mangonui Rep. Teams For Saturday

KAITAIA, Tue. (Sp.).—Three Mango* nui teams will be engaged in representative Rugby football matches next Saturday. As winners of the Harding Shield north zone series, Mangonui seniors will challenge Bay of Islands, holders from last season, for this trophy. The match will be played at Kaikohe.
The curtain-raiser will be between Mangonui and Bay of Islands third grade teams, providing a well-earned outing for the Mangonui lads, who this season withstood three challenges for the Powell Shield before losing to Northern Wairoa.
Winning the Brake Shield from Bay of Islands last Saturday, the Mangonui junior representatives will meet Whangarei's challenge on the A. and P. Ovhl at Kaitaia. The senior selector (Mr M. Yates) has announced the following team: Fullback, T. Hcnare; threcquarters, J. Walters, L. McCann, S. Wailai; fiveeighths, J. Murray. T. Smith: halfback. B. Waipouri; forwards, front row. G. Dawson, J. Joseph, E. C. Ray; locks, S. Urlich, J. Diamond: breakaways, S. White, T. Reid; back row, J. Yates. Emergencies: Forwards, A. Blucher, M. Robson, A. Hardy; backs. I. Erstich, E. Jamieson. W. Revington. BRAKE SHIELD SIDE No changes have been made by the junior selector (Mr J. T. Walsh) from the team which brought home the Brake Shield, and the side is: Fullback, J. Gibbons; threequarters, D. Archibald, O. Berghan, N. Thomas; five-eighths, R. Cowic, J. Koroi; halfback, T. Hoddle; forwards, front row, B. Roughsedge, J. Noble, A. Anderson; locks, J. Wilson. J.
