Snow Sn N.S. Wales

SYDNEY, Thu. (11.30 a.m.)—Buses entering Sydney from the west and south are caked with snow and the drivers report many roads blocked. The weather today in Sydney is sunny but cold. Several small towns are still isolated, but heavy rain is helping to clear some roads.

Five rivers in Gippsland, Victoria, have broken their banks because of melting snow, and heavy rain is isolating 300 people. The Snowy River rose 18ft, covering ninny low-lying areas.
