N.Z.To Join Pacific Union?
MANILA. Wed.—At least 12 nations including New Zealand. Australia and Japan, are considered good prospects to join the proposed Pacific Union, according to a Philippines diplomatic source.
They are:—China. Korea. Philippines. Burma. Pakistan. India, Siam. Indonesia, Jndo-Chinn. New Zealand, Australia and Japan. The source said New Zealand, Australia and India were the only doubtful countries, adding that the Commonwealth nations "cannot a fiord to be outside an anli-Cunnmmist alignment."
