“The previous two speakers are well-known to you all—one as a sit-' ting member of the board and the other as a borough councillor, but I am just a hen-pecked husband,’’ said Mr R. A. Rogers. He was speaking at last night’s meeting of the Whangarei Girls’ ' High School Teacher-Parent Association, together with the other two parents’ nominees on the board of governors, Mrs E. M. Sands, and Mr W. L. McKinnon. The chairman (Mr C. J Dent) announced that all three candidates had been nominated by the association’s committee and returned unnopposed. ‘
